Told you Arnie was going to get a beat down. That last down was just to show NY has class. The last TD was for Arnie though, just to let you know what the next several years will be like. Another throttle next week, then NY will show which Athens County team is the best, as they make their way into the playoffs. Will NY get a home game?

I think they won't get enough second level points to help them to get a home game. They need to worry another VC next week and take it one at a time. Going over there has never been easy on NY. Focus on next week, and then prepare for a possible TVC championship game.

Seen both Athens and NY now,NY better play their a game cause athens will steam roll bucks by passing. Burrow is the real deal, 4 wr that can catch and fast. NY will score points, win, nope dont think so.Athens will be the best team in the county. And im rootn for NY by the way, just dont have the horses to keep up their no huddle offense.

Wow, Steely I was trying to stay out of this. It's really none of my buisness. But I just read a post started by Catsandbucks about JV game. He slamming Alexander's head coach before the game was even played. Then was proven wrong. Negative Nelly? Proofs in the pudding. Here is an Idea Catsanddogs or what ever your name is spend more time finding positive things to do and say for and about Alexander's program. Speak highly of your kids and be a part of the solution instead of part of the problem. You have some really good positive student athletes and they need good positive people in their lives to help make them productive members of society.Steely Dan wrote:First, please show me where I said that the Ohio is weaker than the Hocking. You are trying to put words in my mouth, don't even try it. No where did I imply that. Bulldog was trying to make a weak, and convoluted point, that Alex had beaten the "third best" team in the Hocking. My rebuttal was that they were damned lucky to do that. Where did I say that the Ohio division was weaker than the Hocking. No where.catsandbucks wrote:Steely,
I would say that Trimble was damned lucky to have played a NY team before they got a few players back that had to miss the first couple weeks of the season. I have a feeling that if they played 10 more times now, NY would win 10 times...You cannot say you have a point about the Ohio being weaker than the Hocking. You have some of the worst teams in the state of Ohio in your league (Belpre, S.Gallia, Miller)
Frankly, being third best in either league is nothing to brag about, let's face it.
I've read your posts on here, and don't care for anything that you have to say. You continually attack and disparage the coaches at Alexander (in any sport you choose), and come across as a negative nelly. Are you the reincarnation of Athens78? Glad you are their problem over in Albany, and not Fed Hock's.
Keep up your campaign to alienate every other poster on this website. You are well on your way to a successful campaign.

vctransplant,
How was I wrong? Arno did dress all of those kids and it just shows how behind the Alexander program is that we dress varsity players down and we still get whipped by Athens JV.

Not saying you wrong as much as I am saying Steely is right. You seem very negative about your own program. To me that is TREASON. Especially in a forum such as this. Even if you are dissatisfied with your program or coach you discuss that amongst others in the program and never where student athletes can see it. You dont air dirty laundry where all the world can read it either. And really I dont know why I wasted time typing this because if you have to ask where you were wrong then you dont get it, and probably never will.catsandbucks wrote:vctransplant,

wake up, this site is made up of 99% of wasteful opinions of people who think they know what they are talking about and do not. Nothing that I have said on here has not been said to the coaches, AD and other administrators so it is not like I am talking behind their backs. If you do not think that the Alexander program is behind a lot of schools when we get beat by a combined 125 points in 7th, 8th, jv and varsity to Athens then you are wrong. If you do not think that our football program is behind when we get beat by a combined 96 points in 7th, 8th, and Varsity by NY then you are wrong.
Maybe I am that dumb but I really do not understand what is wrong by saying that it is pretty obvious that our program is behind and falling even more behind by the season. It won't improve either because 3 h.s. assistants are leaving after this season and Arno will have his 3rd defensive coordinator in 4 seasons working with him.
You may not believe it to be fact, and thats fine because remember, the site is mostly OPINION and EVERYONE needs to quit taking themselves so seriously on here and understand that their own opinion is not fact.

Well said. Why can't Arnie keep a staff together?catsandbucks wrote:wake up, this site is made up of 99% of wasteful opinions of people who think they know what they are talking about and do not.
