This game was awarded as a WIN to adena. OHSAA board of directors sited the late notice of cancellation as a factor. Adena moves to 2-0 on the season.

Yeah a bit strange, as in 2017 Green played week 9 and then canceled their week 10 game against Oak Hill. Now obviously that would be considered a late notification by this standard, however on Eitel it is just labeled as canceled and no record of play given to either team.

No, Joe has updated and given Adena a 1-0 victory with forfeit next to it

It may have been more beneficial to have it as a "No Contest" and just had the divisor changed for playoff purposes. If they do not play other games Adena will not have any change at 2nd level playoff points. Even if they play sounds like it could be a rough year with those number, leading no points as well.

Wrong. Happened to us with Coal Grove a few years ago. They had the plague or something going around down there and our administration wouldn't let us go. Coal Grove cried to the OHSAA and got a forfeit ("victory") over us even though we never played the game.

Would of been a good series

Coal Grove crushed Trimble in the only game of a 2 year contract.

I can’t say about the “crying” but when you schedule a game, you’re expected to play the game. Coal Grove missed no other games that season and no other team had a problem playing. So it should’ve been a forfeit.
