^^^Yeah it's just a matter of the Tusky Catholic and Connotton Valley game to be recorded in the books. R'wood gets the points no matter who wins. MC went into the week without the possibility of passing R'wood in the final standings. It is definitely MC at F'town in week 11. To my knowledge the first ever matchup between the two schools.

1 Oak Hill vs. 8 Coal Grove
4 Minford vs. 5 Nelsonville York
(guarantees a local game in the second round)

2 Fredericktown vs 7 Ridgewood
3 Wheelersburg vs 6 Monroe Central
love to see minford vs oak hill again so we will see who the should have belonged to

Looks like some good first round matchups and some even better potential 2nd round matchups.

The 2nd season is amongst us.

ARE YOU READY FOR SOME PLAYOFF FOOTBALL!!!!!!!

Valley is this year's 2009 Liberty Union. LU returned the overwhelming majority of it's starters from the 08 regional title teams and lost two games to Amanda Clearcreek and West Jeff and got snubbed last year.

The game on Valley's schedule that is killing Valley in terms of computer points is Huntington Ross. They have won zero of their last 26 games.

no offenst, but considering the cats arent even a "challenge" the past few years, i wouldnt put that past us honestly.....the bulldogs have played NY solidly and almost gave me a heart attack the past 3 years.....this is already a rival game

Exactly right. I've never understood why they play that team. SP is 3-17 over the last two years with no end in sight. RH is 5-25 over the last 3 seasons.

ive been to every game, are you saying that in 08 when we beat them by 3+ it was a good game? in 09 was a good game beating them by one point, and here in 2010, beating them 14-6, that was a good game, but i think that the buckeyes should have rolled a little more than what they did. granted, i stand corrected they have had some good games against us, but how often does trimble win (no offense tomcat faithful), but allthough trimble is a good rival and just over the hill, athens would be a great addition to our rivalry section!

Great season for Caldwell. Unfortunately, they came up just a little short of the playoffs. Just the way it happens sometimes. Good luck to fellow PVC member Monroe Central in the playoffs.

So who is the favorite for the region?

My picks: Oak hill, then Freddies, Ridgewood. Until they get beat, they have proven they should be favs (especially with everyone healthy).

The favorites in this region I'd have to say go like this:

1. Fredericktown/Wheelersburg/Ridgewood
4. Nelsonville-York
5. Oak Hill
6. Monroe Central
7. Minford
8. Dawson-Bryant

NO.. I think the Freddies QB this year is Ryan Logan : soph 6'3 190
Last year QB was senior Thomas Hinkle 6'3 210
seems like the freddies always have a BIG QB..

1.) Oak Hill
2.) Burg
3.) Minford
4.) Fredericktown
5.) Nelsonville
6.)Monroe Central
7.) Ridgewood
8.) Coal Grove

I know it's not offical as of yet, but Joe Eitel now has Monroe Central
traveling to Wheelersburg sat, the previous team was Ridgewood to come.
Don't know if they are any games being played tonight that would have an
impact on any more changes, but starting to look more clear that it will come
down to one of these two teams..

Fredericktown plays two QBs. One is the young soph a little better passer... the other is Hathaway a good runner/athlete but smaller

Tuscarawas Central Catholic and Conotton Valley play tonight, Ridgewood has played both and they are D-6 schools. Ridgewood will automatically get 3.5 more second level points, giving them a total of 18.1 and moving them into 6th place.
