I expect Chilli to be a top half SEOAL team, just not win the Champ. So Sheridan game should be competitive. The Cavs , however, are in for an eye opener.

The Logan -Sheridan scrimmage should be a precusor of whats coming.

When was the last time Logan won at Hernstien field?
Can't wait to watch Logan on the basketball court home or away is like probably the funniest thing I've ever seen.

Think about it every home game Logan has played at chilli, chillicothe has had to turn the ball over to even let logan in the ball game. Chillicothe should've won 31-0 back in 06' but turnovers let Logan even be in the picture

I assume you mean 2005 since the 2006 game was at Chillicothe?

Let me set the record straight:

2005 @ Bill Sauer Field:

Logan Turnovers: 3 fumbles, 1 INT
Chillicothe Turnovers: 2 fumbles, 1 INT

Logan commits 4 turnovers plus a bad punt snap that gave Chilli two points and the return from the free kick set up Chilli's second score.

Other Stats:

First Downs: Logan 18, Chilli 7
Plays: Logan 72, Chilli 36
Rushing Yards: Logan 268, Chilli 127
Passing Yards: Logan 26, Chilli 9
Total Yards: 294, Chilli 136
Punts: Logan 1, Chilli 3

Plus, Logan had two running back go over 100 yards.

Logan completed dominated the Cavs who tried to play Chris Givens out of position (at quarterback). He rushed for only 32 yards and complete one of nine passes for 9 yards.

Exactly WHERE did Chillicothe out play Logan? Because every statistical category seems to point out that Chillicothe was lucky to be as close as they were.

In the end, Logan scored more points, gained more yards, punted less, made more mistakes, and turned the ball over MORE than Chillicothe.

What exactly was your argument again?

1991. Logan 13 AT Chillicothe 0
What about Chillicothe at Bill Sauer Field?

Is this the football forum or the basketball forum?

You don't see me talking about softball or girls basketball do you?

Chillicothe by 17 this year. With all their returning and at home game over.

I hope chillicothe runs a version of WVU's offense with caleb and the talent they have

They have 4 individual state champions, no digging necessary.

Go back to walking away with your tail between your legs. I'm pretty sure you made the same predictions last year.

Oh yea that's right i made the same prediction last year when I was out of the Country studying abroad. MMhmmmm yep i sure did oh yea....

Get used to walking off chillicothe's field with a loss, It's been what 17 years since you've won in chillicothe in basketball or Football.

Wow that sure does sound like success to me...
I'll let you two get back to tag teaming eachother

pinapplrdhwk,

Who looks like the possible candidates to start in the backfield this season for the CAVS behind Caleb :?:

Any newcomers?

I hear that we have some kids that are coming out for the first time since 8th grade and Freshman years, but have played and excelled in other sports at Chillicothe.

Oh by the way, Logan Posters, we hope to see you all at the (Hernstein) this season. Good Luck to your kids. 17 years is a long time. Hopefully, our kids on The Cavalier side, can make it another W and send your Chieftians home once more, dreaming about that victory at the Hernstein, that could've been, but never happened. :-D

Searching for a backfield and you are going to hang with teams like Sheridan, Big Nutt, and Logan. I GUARNTEE you Sheridan will be the best Defense you face all year, HANDS DOWN. Big Nutt, Logan and Sheridan close on Offense, speed to Sheridan, Line play to Logan.

Chilli Loses

Big Nutt- 20-Chlli 13
Sheridan- 35 Chilli 7
Logan - 28- Chilli- 14

Like I said before Army, how sure are you? Are you going to put some extra seats in your stadium for Sheridan and Logan?

Drifter,

We heard this re-direct from Paladin and 2old in 2006. 2old, who I know, did the same. I don't know if Paladin was in the stands, but 2old was. He left disappointed. Do you know what the score was against Logan at half-time? :-D

The same thing we listened to how Paladin's Logan Chieftians were going to destroy the weak MVL Team, Tri-Valley in the playoffs at Logan. We all remember that prediction too. And the outcome! The same call Paladin and many others were saying about what Ironton was going to do against Chillicothe in 2006 at the Hernstein. So predict all you want Drifter. Let's see what the Chillicothe Cavalier kids have to say about that on the field. Then lets see what takes place in week 2-3 and 10. Oh by the way, we are looking forward to seeing you in your T-Shirt supporting the Sheridan Generals in week 3.

I'll be there, in fact I'm looking FORWARD to it.

It'll be atleast 17 years between Cavalier wins in Logan, so let's not act like either team has had success on the road in the series.

By the way Army, I would not be caught dead in a Sheridan shirt. Only wear purple buddy. Do not confuse having respect for a great program, and picking a loaded, very talented team to beat an above average Chillicothe team, as being a supporter or fan. I love good high school football, and that is what you get when you watch a Sheridan game. Your homerism, and all the little faces and stats from the 40's are not going to help Chillicothe on the field. You keep talking about this stadium like it is something special. My biggest question is still where are you going to set the Sheridan fans? They will fill both sides of your stadium within 25 minutes after you open the gates. 7-3 is not a bad season Army. Do not hate the world because Chillicothe is not looked at or respected for its football. Y ou still have basketball.

Drifter,

You seriously need a life Cowboy.

I would love to see the Sheridan fans try to sit on Chillicothe's side that has a very large reserved section.

You must of forgot how many times your purple chieftians have left the Hernstein disappointed. :122246 :122247 :-D

Hi all!

This is my first post of 2008 :122245

I would like to wish all the young men in the SEOAL the best of luck and hope everyone gets to start the season injury free.

As a Chilli fan, with benefits, I see some obvious fan favorites coming back as stated in the previous posts. There are some surprises coming though, although I can't give all the info away. I would like to state some subjects maybe NOT stated yet.

Drew Basil is now rated #6 in the Nation for his class.

Chillicothe gets a gift handed to them, transfer from Columbus East.

Kyle Ramsey, hits it hard in the weight room and hasn't missed a team function yet....this kid will cause some attention to his position.

M. Dunn WILL return and posted a 4.38 pre-season 40 yd. time

New special team coaches have been assigned and look to light a fire under Chilli's special teams play.

YES, the talented sophmore class is going to impact Friday night...Look for Isaac Beverly and Casey Oates (carried the track team as freshman) AND Brandon Whitaker to make some noise.

Nope there's more. Chillicothe IS returning the most veteran group in the SEOAL, and that fact also pertains to their off season record. Hmmmm...3rd years a charm?

As for the 3 non-conference games. Chillicothe has the personnel to beat Haven with key loses to their line and RB's...also Columbus has put a stop to open enrollment..and they have a new head coach.
Big Walnut has lost most of their startes AND key loss is their Ohio State hopeful Linebacker who is projected to be out till week 5 with a blown knee.
Sheridan loses there star tailback and is known to be a running team. Chilli's beefed up D-Line will have something to say about that.. Chilli has the ability and talent to come out of week 3 with a solid 3-0. The numbers are there, we cavs just gotta want it.

Well, thats all the damage I can do.. Good Luck SEAOL..stay safe

GO CAVS REFUSE TO LOSE PART 2 IS NOW IN SESSION
