Suggestion to any Alexander fans who might post on this thread or any similar Spartan-Buckeye smackdown/Arno stinks threads:
Nelsonville-York is better than Alexander in football, always has been, always will be. Can't argue that. It's like trying to argue that the sun doesn't come up every day. I would suggest trying to look at all sports combined. Who's better overall in baseball, softball, boys/girls basketball, volleyball, cross country, track? I think in those sports, the answer is Alexander and it's Alexander by a mile in most cases. OK, no one from Nelsonville cares about those sports, so Alexander will always have to climb that 0-38 hill until they break the string. Just trying to give the Spartan faithful something to work with here.

Don't you mean it "doesn't mean you're a moron." Nice to see your husband married someone on his own level.
u have no class. u have no sense.. and the only thing your team will have at the end of the season is a losing record
normally i dont contest to this kinda non sense but im not seeing you having a lot of class. unless of course the two of us have a different thought of what is class. sorry.
What is absolutely and mindlessly ironic about many of these boring, juvenile retorts is that the center of the discussion is Dave Boston, Jr. This is the man that undoubtedly brought Alexander its best football years and is providing NY with a continuation of its great tradition. Why in the world are both sides lashing reciprically?
Any who has met Dave Boston, Jr. has been impressed. He's an outstanding person who you want your kids to be around. Rightfully, no one in Nelsonville cares that he didn't finish college. Good for NY.
Sounds like Coach Arno might be the same kind of great person. For Alexander's sake, let's hope he cticks around. Good for Alexander.
Can we talk about the game now? The Huddle, of course, has no mention of it, and I was kinda curious about it.
i myself have no problem with dave boston jr. but i know the reason to why majority of the alexander crowd does. i will not tell of the reason for it is inappropriate. i also do not know how much of it is true. i know there is a certain degree of truth to it. but im not going to be the one to spread rumors and try and bring down mr boston. i think it is funny that you dont even have enough sportsmanship to wish the spartans good luck. i would love for alexander to get wins, but i mostly go to football games in hopes of watching an exciting game.
I would just like to say GREAT JOB ALEXANDER FOOTBALL for a rather large win over Unioto on Friday night. Keep up the good work guys. Everyone got to make a difference in this game. Nice work. Good luck Friday against Belpre. Play with Heart and Believe in each other and you will be ringing the bell one more time with a Victory!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
AtownWarrior: I hope the "you" you are referring to certainly wasn't me, seeing as how I praised your coach without even meeting him. I am also glad to see that you have the class to both not mention the unfortunate events that led to Coach Boston resigning from Alexander and not evaluate them yourself since you were not there. You sound like an intelligent man; good for you to not elaborate on rumors like others have in the past.
