Well put Oak. The mighty can fall real quick. These Burg posters got no respect but I guarantee the Burg coaches and those young men that suit up on Friday nights respect what Burg has always strived to be and take nothing for granted. They respect their opponents. The Burg strives to be the best in sports and in education. I have been around a lot of communities and none other supports their kids no matter what they are doing more than Burg.

Burg doesn't always run the offense the way they did at Waverly. Burgs coaches had a game plan to control the clock so burg ran the ball more, you obviously haven watched burg much.

I've watched Wheelersburg play alot actually and your answers are typical of most-not all- burg people I know. Obnoxious and cocky.

Most of the runs are by or plays made by the quarterback. Those work well until you play someone as athletic as you, then you better be able to move people. They can't.

I think you are in the right PB. Several Burg fans on this site are totally disrespectful. Minford isn't as good as a 5-2 record and will get handled by a good burg team. But to say it like these posters do is arrogant and wrong. Karma is a ____.

And while we're on burg. They have problems of their own. Their interior defense is as soft as a jelly roll. Waverly isn't known as a physical team, but they ran simple zone plays from the pistol down burgs throat. Offensive line is weak too. Offense is being dictated by a really good quarterback running the ball. He gets dinged and it's over.

Burgs backup qb is actually pretty good, also has 2 years starting experience under his belt. I don't think I would consider the season over if the starter got dinged up.

Has anyone talk to a buckeye fan or a uk basketball fan? They always sound arrogant. Burgs a great program, naturally fans are going to get on your nerves.

Minford will have an uphill battle . Burg is a legit championship caliber team. I think Minford comes out and plays hard as the emotion will het them through a quarter. Me as well. I know Coach Ruby will be using this as a teaching moment. He is a great motivator. The kids will be fired up for this one. I talked to Him last night. He know's what Burg has. They are concentrating on fundamentals this week. Hang on to the ball and make solid tackles. I don't doubt Minford will be ready to play.

As for minford they only have beat Burg like 4 times out of 60 games that's not made up. Burg owns minford in football... sorry falcon fans

As far as I can remember, Minford only has a handful of wins against Wheelersburg since Minford started football in 1959 or 1960. Those came in 1985, twice in 2000, 2003, and 2009.
