Nice solid hire!!! He was orignally on Phil Davis and Andy Clark staff as Special Teams and WR Coach for 8-9 years combined. Then was the Middle School Coach for a while as well. Played 4 years of college ball at Concord University in WV. All his former players have nothing but praise for him. Well done Peake

I spoke to Harley and he said this is not true. He has no interest in the job.
I sent a message to Matt from Harley about this.
Man, it looks like The Peake dodged a huge bullet there....

Man, reading the older comments on this thread is hilarious…change was needed and anyone arguing against that is delusional. Mediocrity became the standard. But, to say Peake football hasn’t been relevant since Phil Davis or it’s not good job, just as delusional.

Andy Clark at Chesapeake: 44-29, 3 playoff appearances, .500 or better in 6 of 8 seasons (against a much harder schedule than they play nowadays). And they played an entire season of road games when the new stadium was built in 2011(?). Doesn’t get much better than that for a school that prioritizes hoops.

Lots of good Panther football was played under Clark. The teams of the 90s/00s aren’t coming back. If Hutchison can get the program back to mid 2010 levels I would call it a job well done.
