Sounds as if turnovers by the Marauders has them shooting themselves in the foot. The Warriors are grinding out big chunks on the ground. Right at the end of the third quarter the Marauders hook up for a 70 yard td pass.

Sounds like an entertaining fan friendly game. I will be back with more soon.

3 wins already this season with a much tougher schedule overall than last season.

This is a really nice win for Warren, considering what many thought would be the outcome of this game....

Marauders need to regroup, period...............

Excellent win for Warren. Relatively more balanced attack. Warren ran the ball effectively like they have all year (Wellspring, Dunfee and Coffman) and actually passed effectively too. The TD pass to close the first half was a big boost. The passing game actually made Meigs back out of the box just enough to make difference. The defense was excellent with better pass coverage and only a couple breakdowns. They picked off the Meigs QB two times and darn near a third but the ball must have touched the ground. Kyle Pritt came alive tonight and had a great defensive game. Meigs is a good balanced team. Warren is much, much improved. It's an uphill battle to bring a program back to respectability. The win tonight was a definite move in the right direction. We are very, very proud of this team.

Good luck to Meigs. Their QB went down with about 5 minutes to go. I hope he is fine.

happy to see the Warriors get a win tonight

there were doubts about whether or not the Warriors could contain Meigs passing game.
For the most part they did, one long TD on a bad pursuit and one long pass down the sidelines despite good coverage.

Road gets really tough now, got to get ready for Portsmouth.

this was a good test for meigs we lost, but we played well and never quit. warren simply had too many quality players and meigs was not ready for that. this is what we have to get used to if we hope to ever make the play-offs. i hope the people who make those decisions keeps warren on our play list.
