730 start

Hammer
I fully agree with you... I expect this game to be a hard fought game that is settled in the 4th quarter. As others have mentioned, the big key for the Indians is to not turn the ball over. I feel that the way Valley moves the ball and scores offensively that they just need to win the battle of field position. Make Ridgewood have long sustained drives, don't give them a short field... I expect Valley to throw the ball a little more than normal tonight. Just a hunch after seeing some of the passing numbers other teams have put up against the Generals.

From today's PDT - "Blake Yates and senior tailback Luke Keller. Combined, the duo are responsible for 3043 of the team’s 3716 total yards (82 percent), 48 of the 52 offensive touchdowns (92 percent) and 234 of the 358 total points (71 percent)."

Come on Indians. Show them how we play football down here in Southern Ohio.

One thing I do know is that they have only left out of the area once out of the last 4 years with a playoff victory. Burg got them twice and West once. It does look like they will be a strong opponent for Valley, but I beleive that Valley playing in front of the home crowd will help then pull out the victory late in the game.

Good luck Indians

Should be a packed house get there early. It will take awhile to get out of the parking lot after the game. There are 2 ways in and out but just be patient. After the West game there were 3 wrecks. Nothing major just fans in a hurry to get out. If you exit by the elementary school just take two right turns and that will get you heading right too Route 23. Columbus Dispatch had too pick Ridgewood they figure we don`t even get the paper down here so they probably think they have more readers up thay way. GO INDIANS. Final score Valley 28-22.

You ought to come up to the top of the Valley stands next to the press box. It will be the right side if you are face the press box, left side when facing the field. There will be a large group of us standing up there and I think you'll definitely enjoy the view from there. Plus, there are a couple of things, outside of football that I'd like to chat with you about and I think some of the guys with me could be a big help as well.
I will do that.

I sat 5 rows below you at the West vs. Valley game this year. I sat with Fido and biggdowgg...

Good luck to Valley!
Look forward to seeing you tonight

Come on "wink", Ridgewood lost to the #4 seed (8-2) in R17 and the #1 seed (10-0) in R18 during the regular season. I predicted a Valley win also (28-21) but if they do beat them by 26 it'll raise some eyebrows around the state for next week, let's put it that way. Not many teams schedule teams in the same division from different regions (which involves travel) that are playoff caliber competition during the year. This is a case of Ridgewood scheduling "UP" as is spoken on here about SEO teams not doing a lot, not division wise but competition wise. This type scheduling can only make you better.

From the couple of games I have seen Ridgewood play Burg, they usually have a good QB and 1-2 good backs. They like to put one of the backs out with the receiver and run some Jet action with a really fast guy in motion. Usually the guy in motion gets the ball....sometimes the handoff and sometimes with play action pass to the guy that was in motion.

Good luck Valley!

I agree with you somewhat, but you have to also remember that Ridgewood is 25 miles north of I-70 and Garaway is only 20 miles away from them. Liberty Center is a long haul and that did involve a long trip. This is a school that geographically should be in R17 and 7 of their 10 opponents are either R13, R17 or R21 (northeast Ohio).

As the game wears on you will start to see the Ridgewood boys start to shy away from putting the hit on the Keller boy. He is a beast and will flat out run over them and go for 3 TDs in the second half when the line breaks him just a small seam to get him into the secondary.... and he is gone.... and those smaller, lighter secondary boys aren't going to be anxious to hit him more than once early in this game. If he can keep from putting the ball on the ground, Valley wins this one going away.

And I will be surprised to see Ridgewood score more than once on Valley's defense.
