LOL ok sir.
Did you read the first post?

Did you read the first post?
With Brian Kelly leaving UC and going to ND, is UC still interested in him, or is he going to honor his verbal to Toledo?
With Central Michigan's coach now going to UC, is Southworth going to honor his verbal to CMU, or will he look elsewhere?

no one still knows, that is what the thread is about. Everyone knew what you posted.
that was a given months ago. Derek has since been offered by ND. We have not heard if Caleb has any other offers or if he still plans to go to CMU. Neither has signed yet.

Ok I see what you talking about now, Im sorry about that.
Re: Questions about D. Roback & C. Southworth
I heard Caleb had strong showing at the all-star game he participated in over Christmas. I thought he might get another offer or two. Anyone heard anything?
2 BCS kids from Pike County would be amazing!

I think what Ingram's "evaluation" -- as if that's not a joke in its own right -- really tells you is not so much about Ingram as much as it tells you about the supposed "experts" doing the evaluations. Specifically, it tells you that the "experts" are in many cases so utterly unqualified and incapable of doing what they purport to do that at times they literally cannot read the writing on the wall, and that many times outside factors that should have no effect whatsoever on a recruit's ultimate rating do in fact have an impact after all. The scary thing about situations like this is that they are probably more common than you would think. Ingram may be a bit of an anomaly, but not much of one.

First off Congratulations to young Mr. Roback! There are only 3 people this young man has to answer to concerning his football abilities, God, himself and his new head coach. Everyone else doesnt matter on that field! lol

Did you play college football?
That is funny bookem: Paladin is just extremely jealous because Waverly has placed four QB's in the ranks of DI (on scholarship) in the past 20 years, and his Chieftains continue to get ignored. So he and many others whine and bash other kids. Of course they also use my favorite line....."They could play at OU"! What is interesting in the past 25 years I bet Waverly has had more DI football players than the mighty mighty Chiefs!
Now before I get buried, I wish Patrick a lot of luck, he's a nice player, same with Conrad. However there are 119 DI football schools, and they have all had pretty much the same evaluation.

Caleb as of right now is still going to Central Michigan. I had talked to him the other day and he said he was looking at Marshall but they brought in another TE so they didn't have room for him. So as of this very moment, he is still committed to Central Michigan....

Ok, I have to hear this.
What college and how many years?

Paladin,
Then you should know how tough it is once you get there and look around and see the athletes you'll be competing against...especially at a school like Notre Dame. Who knows where he'll end up playing, if at all...everybody experiences that same dance against the football gods. How many kids have went into camp as a "lock" to be a star, only to have their hopes dashed by a career-ending injury. We're talking about 18-19 year-old kids here...you don't know what they're going to be in a few years. There's a defensive end in this year's draft (projected first rounder) that came to school as a 205 lb. RB...you know what I'm saying. He was recruited as a QB, and he may play QB...or not. Let that beautiful dance begin...GO IRISH! Wow, did I just type that?

Caleb recieved an official offer from Marshall. He also has offers from Bowling Green and Central Michigan. There may end up being another big offer coming this weekend. We will see.......
Don't feel right announcing it on here. Especially, the way people have bashed Roback.
BY the way..... Congrats to Derek. What he is doing should make all of SE Ohio proud. Some people are just too jealous or stupid to understand what is taking place.

good post, hopefully Caleb will get a big offer as well.
You are right, it is amazing how petty people are. Two hometown boys getting a big opportunity. Everyone should be proud and support them.
