Nice breather for Meigs while they gear up for the meat of their league schedule. I say it is a great move for them. Gotta put some sure wins on the schedule. Kinda sucks for the new Southern coach though to step into a game like that.

What would make him more qualified at running a respectful program then Coach Smith?

That Smith coached there jh team for 2 years as head coach to have a record of only 2 wins and in his 2nd win was 2 river valley then was the backs coach for the last 2 years and plus he never coached colledge fb he played for a year or 2 at bgsu so they say and if he were the coach they would'nt pass the ball 1 time but in a way yea hes been with the upcoming jrs an seniors since 2006 which was the 1st team he'd ever coached but anyway in todays game of fb u have to be able to run the ball and to be great u have to have a great passing game unless u got a back that runs a 4.5 40 and squats around 350 and benches above 280 which probably will never happen at southern but the real question u gotta wonder who the leader of the offense\QB of the varsity is gonna be cause u kno they are gonna need someone to step up and be the qb for southern thats who imma b watchin for

Smith was only the backs coach at southernand he was only their for 2 years last year and the year before

Smith has helped for three years and we still haven't had anyone state how one coach is more qualified then the other.....
