Athens loses Saltzman and Wiseman but brings back a lot. Athens will gain it's QB they lost a week before the season

Pretty good schedule . The non league warren game not crazy about but pretty solid overall

After McGinnis Davies got hurt, the entire Athens offensive line were juniors.

if you have your entire unit returning in tact up front - you have a good chance of being successful. How much success may depend on how good Albin can be taking snaps and throwing the football.

Canal Winchester is a mess right now. Good opportunity for the 'Dogs to go get an OCC win.

They did play Desales close. I have no clue why they left the MSL.

They didn't really play DeSales close, the final score was close.

The game was 27-7 at halftime (and entering the 4th Q) and Canal tacked on two scores in the fourth quarter against DeSales JV.

Them leaving the MSL was a big mistake. But there is a lot of pressure on school boards and athletic directors in central Ohio to be in the OCC.

Canal is going to finish 1-9 with only victory over lowly Westerville North (probably the worst program in the OCC over the last decade).

They've got similar issues to Nelsonville-York amongst players and coaching staff, including rumors that the coaching staff are looking for new jobs.

JV had a lot of size. Went 6-1. Idk about the freshman team

Canal is a basketball school. Them playing in the MSL-Buckeye where half of the league is terrible every year (AC, FU, HT and at those times either Teays Valley or Circleville) did them nothing for when they grew big enough to play in the Division 1 tournament.

Canal will beat Thomas Worthington. Thomas Worthington is far worse than Westerville North.

Canal's biggest issue is the district is losing solid families with set-in-stone value systems and instead is adding more riff raff over on Gender Road.
