In Tanner's final run of the night, as he hurdled a young man from the Redmen on his way to the endzone, when he came down from the jump something popped. Found out today that after the MRI that it was snapped and looking at 6-8 months recovery.

I'm extremely sorry to hear about that. after 7 knee surgeries. 3 of them being torn acl's. and I'm the proud owner of a steel knee for nearly 17 years. I know what he'll go through. I can't remember what grade he's in. I'm thinking a sophomore. but that's a grueling rehab. and I certainly hope his playing days are not over. he has had an awesome year.
