I THINK RV CAN WIN THIS IF THEY PLAYED LIKE THEY DID THE FIRST HALF OF THE ALEXANDER GAME. BUT THEY NEED TO PLAY HARD IN EVERY QUARTER NOT JUST THE FIRST HALF

Considering talent level, Fairland should win big. But, there are other factors which make me unsure about the outcome.

So, is Fisher not playing...that's the only way RV has a shot in this one. Fisher will give Fairland a chance at an OVC title...

River Valley has nothing to worry about except number 4 and if they play like they did Friday in the first half I see them as a potential playoff team

River Valley wouldn't make the playoffs this year if they won each of their next 5 games 100-0. Good grief...

You need to do a little bit of research of how you get to the playoffs. As fuzzhead already said, it's about 99% sure that RV won't make the playoffs even if they won out. OVC is down this year and everybody except CG has a bad record. CG is 4-1. SP, RV, and Fairland are 1-4 and Peake and Hill are 0-5. You get more playoff points if you beat a team that has some wins. So even if RV goes undefeated in league play, they won't get many points from beating the league teams. Actually I can see Coal Grove go 5-0 in league play and might even drop in the playoff standings.

Back to the game...winner will be who has less turnovers and both teams have had problems with this.

Spot on Tubby. And you're right - both these teams have had trouble hanging on to the ball. Fairland has much more talent and playing bad teams has a funny way of helping you to keep the turnovers down.

Yeah, it probably won't be pretty but stranger things have happened. RV has one OVC win since 04. The odds are certainly not in their favor.

Thanks earp I am trying to talk up my team these boys have worked hard and it may not show up in tape but they can play with the best of them they proved that Friday in the first half and fuzzhead you really need to just calm down hey if RV don't go to the playoffs it's nothing differnt than any year but I'm just trying to give them confidence because no one else will I mean look at all the posts I don't think their but like 3 comments on here that even come close to supporting the raiders I mean yea their going against a good team but they have some good players to and I don't help their confidence when everyone talks bad about them that's my opinion and oh I bet if one of your teams had the history we did and lost as much as they have you'd still cheer them on so I'm not doing anything that anyone of you wouldn't

82, I'm not talking bad about anyone, just being realistic. I'm actually pulling for RV here. If half the stories I've heard about that Evans lady are true, you can't help bu feel sorry for the kids.
