Nelsonville-York has clinched a share of the TVC-OHIO title with a week 9 win over Alexander. A win this week will give the Buckeyes the title all to themselves! Athens is looking for a share of the TVC-Ohio title and they want that Doc Kroner trophy more than ever. Boston Field will be rocking, The cannon will BOOM!!!

The Dogs will bring it but I look for them to only be able to hang around for a half and then the Buckeyes will pull away.

Re: ATHENS BULLDOGS @ NELSONVILLE-YORK(WK 10)
well my predictions on week 9 were right when NY pulled of 3 TD in the last two quarters to put them ahead with a 4+ TD win, as i predicted.......here, i predict athens to play hard, but i believe that alex winning over athens was a FLUKE (no offense alex fans, but seriously who onside kicks when theyre lined up in deep kick formation?) good strategy but very CHEAP! anyways........athens will play hard for a share of the title, but NY will pull away in the 3rd and 4th......NY by 2 or more..

Re: ATHENS BULLDOGS @ NELSONVILLE-YORK(WK 10)
buckeyefan, you are ignorant. That had nothing to do with the game. There was under a min in the half and I can bet the Alexander staff didn't call an onside kick in that situation. Jeez I'm glad we got your prediction early so I don't have to stay up for countless hours waiting on your post. Give me a break, you should be posting in the band section. This should be a great game with a lot on the line. I'm a fan of the TVC and wish both teams the best of luck. Hope this game is injury free.

I think Athens is a much improved team over the year. I think that They have the athletes to take it to NY and pull out a win. Smart play calling and good use of the athletes they have and they should win

Buckeyes may have to many weapons on offense for the Bulldogs to overcome. But remember most wars are won in the trenches.

I've seen NY play twice now, and Athens once this year. Keying on zebra77's comment, most wars are won in the trenches, and that is why the Buckeyes will be victorious and take home the TVC Ohio crown again this year, outright.

After seeing both teams , I give the edge to Buchtel. They are the more physical team. Athens has a couple of good skill people. (best in the league..IMO) Buchtel will be too much upfront for the bulldoga ,and playing in Buchtel is a huge advantage.

LET’S GO BUCKEYE’S
I take the Buckeye’s in this game by at least 3 TD’s Athens does have some great Athletes and a lot of speed, but NY has one of the best run defenses I have seen in the TVC in a long time. If NY keeps Athens from getting outside I don’t think they have a chance. NY has shown they can run the ball everywhere and what more can you say about Nathan Dean’s arm the young man is a gifted athlete, and he has so many options to throw to that you will never know what one he is going to. With all that said look at the games Athens has been in they have struggled with Meigs and Alex.
I will say halftime NY 7 Athens 0 or 6 and after halftime look out NY Rolls BIG!
Just my thoughts don’t shot me over them LOL
Hope both teams stay injury free!

The Buckeyes have to much D for the Bulldogs. Athens will bring there (A) game but just like the Spartns it won't be enough.
No share of the TVC title for the dogs this year, the Buckeyes are gonna keep there 20th (Thats right folks, 20 TVC titles) to there selves.
GO BUCKS GO!!!!!!!!!!

Re: TVC-Ohio Championship: Athens @ Nelsonville-York
I kind of like Athens' skill players on the turf in this match-up ... But you can't ever count out a team that relies on its line as its strength ... It may be 'BIG PLAYS' Vs "3-YARDS & A CLOUD OF DUST" - and usually its the latter that wins games.
I just hope its close and everyone at Dave Boston Field enjoys another classic between these two teams. (much like the last two years)

Re: TVC-Ohio Championship: Athens @ Nelsonville-York
Thanks for the inspiration, Space Cowboy. I think the Bucks will win by AT LEAST the differentiation between the Spartans and the Buckeyes. In other words, the NY Buckeyes by +27. Harris and company will be ready though. Devon Sharp and that tenacious "Dog Bone" offense will be ready to execute on the turf at Boston Field. Good luck and good health to both teams.
