Hope to see these kids work hard and get squared away in the first five games and hopefully, hopefully get a win in their SOC-II schedule for the first time in a long time.

I know, bit of a stretch considering the second half of the season history at NW. Right now, it is hard to say where they rate compared to West or Waverly. One thing is for sure, the last five games of the season will be used to gage the Mohawks progress or lack there of. I mean, if you look hard enough, you can find somebody you can beat in the first five games. Show me you can win in the last five games of the season. You can not "turn the corner" until you get to it. The "corner" is four weeks away. We shall see then.

If the Mohawks can stay healthy, they have a chance to get 4 wins with a win over Waverly in week 10. That would be a huge step for the program. 3 non conference wins is great for the rest of the SOC.

I wouldn't underestimate the Huntsmen in this one. I am not saying they are gong to beat Northwest so please don't take it that way but I think the huntsmen need to win just as bad as Northwest. There new coach is completely changing the program all the way from Biddy league to High School. He has ran off the bad eggs and has put this team through probley the hardest two-days ever there in the hills. They are very young team starting I believe around 1 freshman and 4-5 sophomores. They played a good game against a very much improved Manchester team. From what I heard the game could have gone either way. The kids are starting to buy into the coaches philosophy and the coach is there to stay. I see the Huntsmen program going in the right direction.

Northwest should be able to get the win here. As for getting a win in their last 5 games just don't see that happening. Good luck to the Mohawks.

Northwest 28-6 over Hunington Ross. Huntsmens only touchdown on a kickoff return. Northwest is hitting harder than I've seen them hit in Years. That good old smash mouth offence is making them tough! Also Mohawk speed back Lajoye did not play tonight due to a wedding.
