Tri-Valley beat them 27-7 in week 1 last year. Could have been worst. TV has practically that entire team back this year. The TV coaches tell me MF is greatly improved. It should be a good game. MF has a grass field. MF plays a lot of games on grass and TV only played on grass once this season.

Nobody in their right mind wants Tri-Valley in this region. Definite dark horse. Always physical and always a tough out. MF can be sloppy, un-disciplined, and impatient. Word of advice to visitors - take something solid to put down on the bleachers to sit on underneath blankets or cushions - they're full of splinters and completely rickety. Tell the heavier folks to sit right over top the supports. Eat well before you get there, like in Pickerington - you don't want to eat local. And watch out on that 33 crossover from James Rd to 104 - scariest exit in the entire state of Ohio.

If the Dawgs play a fairly clean mistake-free game, this one is winnable.

Good game and nice come back for Tri-Valley.
Marion Franklin controlled the 1st half but only let 12-7 at half. Marion Franklin did a good job at stopping Tri-Valley's running game and the #10 Tri-Valley quarterback was not able to get ball to the Scottie receivers. Marion Franklin had opportunities to have a bigger lead but Scottie defense kept the Red Devils out of the end zone.
Marion Franklin intercepted a pass and ran for a touchdown at 11:36 mark of 3rd quarter to make it 18-7. Marion Franklin had opportunities to expand lead in the middle of 3rd but could not get into the end zone. Late in 3rd quarter Marion Franklin fumbled the ball back to Tri-Valley. Tri-Valley run game finally broke thru for a touchdown to make score 18-13 heading to 4th. All momentum was on Tri-Valley side in the 4th quarter. The run game took over that led to about a 70 yard touchdown run giving Tri-Valley a 20-18 with about 7 minutes left in game. From the point Marion Franklin had trouble moving the ball. Tri Valley added another touchdown to make it 27-18. Marion Franklin attempt to get back into game came up short.
My take away from game was Tri-Valley is a 4 quarter team. Do not count out the Scotties. They continue to dig to the ball gets rolling and it did from about 4 minute mark of the 3rd quarter til the end of game.
Marion Franklin had some speed that caused Tri-Valley some problems but Tri-Valley played hard nosed and found a way to win.
Nice crowd at the game. Tri Valley brought what I thought they would and Marion Franklin had a good showing. Marion Franklin has the worst speaker system I have every heard. Could not understand a word that came over the speakers.
Good Luck to Dresden Tri-Valley Scotties in week 11.
