Northwest's Wyatt Brackman will probably see a lot of varsity action this season. Dakota Seacrest and Alex Baer probably will also.
Brackman is a big strong hardnosed kid that will probably start.

Ironton - Tayden Carpenter QB/LB looks like he's going to be pretty good

Yes, looks like he does, and he's a lefty at that. I'm not sure what their record was last year, but it looks like they had a pretty good Team.Proud_Pirate63 wrote: Fri Jul 26, 2019 4:52 pmLooks like an athletic kid who sees the field well.ohbuckeye2 wrote: Fri Jul 26, 2019 4:46 pm Ironton - Tayden Carpenter QB/LB looks like he's going to be pretty good

Carpenter #44, Carter #28, Barnes #30, and Wilson #24 all have bright futures from Ironton's 2023 class.

That’s a good looking bunch, Carpenter scored the TD in the OVC previews didn’t he? He had some good throws too that should have been caught.Frogtownbuckeye wrote: Sun Aug 18, 2019 8:18 pm Carpenter #44, Carter #28, Barnes #30, and Wilson #24 all have bright futures from Ironton's 2023 class.

Re: Class of 2023
Yes, Carpenter scored the TD on a QB sneak. He had several dropped balls last night and had a great throw where a WR ran the wrong route and interfered with the TE in his route. Carter started at Safety with the 2s and had several good carries with some nice cut backs. Barnes is out with a finger injury and Wilson played some Safety and WR toward the end.ohbuckeye2 wrote: Sun Aug 18, 2019 8:55 pmThat’s a good looking bunch, Carpenter scored the TD in the OVC previews didn’t he? Re: Class of 2023
Is this the same class burg beat last year as 8th graders? If so, I believe Burg, Ironton and Valley had great 8th grade teams last year!!

Re: Class of 2023
Yes, same group. Burg scored with about 2 minutes to go to beat Ironton 12-8. Both schools had very talented, hard nosed kids who play the game the way it’s supposed to be played. Valley’s 8th grade was good as well but I wouldn’t put them on Burg or Ironton’s level.

Yes Ironton QB is a good little player and will be something special when it’s his turn but right know his receivers are not helping him. Last year case of the drops and during previews this year the same.i saw 4 dropped balls in receivers hands and that’s just what I saw. If ur a true football fan u look through that and see the kid his doing his job!

Re: Class of 2023
Northwest incoming freshman have been neck and neck with valley the past few years.. they split in 2018... as stated earlier, Brackman and Baer will see probably see some varsity time.... the valley game was a great addition to NW schedule. I believe they dropped Rock Hill and Minford and picked up Greenfield/McClain and Valley. Two schools that are close and already a rivalry of sorts.. it'll be good to see these teams play again this year and in the future.
