Re: Fan Travel
Burg travels great, Jackson has a big fan base and also bring an extra 200-300 I bet due to being band parents/fans. Ironton I’m sure is back on the travel wagon.
The other teams we play don’t travel big.

Yeah, figured Trimble did but I’ve not seen them play. Rival type games will typically travel well.
Definitely based on success of program a good bit

Fort Frye travels well. Waterford travels well. Heck their girls basketball team probably has more fans than most SEO football teamsIronman92 wrote: Sat Sep 28, 2019 9:17 pm Yeah, figured Trimble did but I’ve not seen them play. Rival type games will typically travel well.

Athens had about half of what Unioto brought to McArthur Friday night. Athens always brings a good crowd for basketball though. Jackson always travels well.

Every GA game I've been to since Penrod took over, GA stands have been getting steadily more packed.
At Meigs, for instance, GA brought more fans, even in an hour and a half rain delay than Meigs did.

At least, Poo Bear. At LEAST. Oddly enough, I heard that GA replaces RV with a familiar foe of the Ironmen. You’ll be way to physical for WB
Re: Fan Travel
They had a decent run some 5 years back but I think they will be the best 0-10 team in the state this year.MisterGalliaGuy2016 wrote: Sat Sep 28, 2019 10:46 pmAt least, Poo Bear. At LEAST. Do y'all have your week 1 game set, next year? I keep hoping the Blue will dump Meigs and schedule a bigger traditional rival like Jackson or LoganIronman92 wrote: Sat Sep 28, 2019 10:55 pmThey had a decent run some 5 years back but I think they will be the best 0-10 team in the state this year.MisterGalliaGuy2016 wrote: Sat Sep 28, 2019 10:46 pmAt least, Poo Bear. Agree about playing every sport, should be a no brainer. Jackson and Gallipolis both travel very well, Burg for there size not far behind.Ironman92 wrote: Sat Sep 28, 2019 10:45 pm Jackson and Gallia Academy should play every season every sport.
Re: Fan Travel
That’s a looooong way for a regular season game. Hopefully GA can find someone local to play after the WB series ends. That’s just an awful long trip!Ironman92 wrote: Sat Sep 28, 2019 10:55 pmThey had a decent run some 5 years back but I think they will be the best 0-10 team in the state this year.MisterGalliaGuy2016 wrote: Sat Sep 28, 2019 10:46 pmAt least, Poo Bear.
