So, to my understanding, teams can either make the playoffs and play in them, or opt out and play up to 10 games.
BUT. If a team loses in the playoffs, prior to playing 10 games, can they schedule more, up until week 10?

Re: Potential postseason
I think a team can schedule games after they lose in the playoffs as long as don’t go over ten games but I’m not sureMisterGalliaGuy2016 wrote: Mon Aug 31, 2020 7:11 am So, to my understanding, teams can either make the playoffs and play in them, or opt out and play up to 10 games.

It’s kind of silly. Just play 10 games. The little rules is aggravating. At least the kids are playing.

Teams can schedule regular season games into "Week 12" I believe - regardless of entering the playoffs.MisterGalliaGuy2016 wrote: Mon Aug 31, 2020 7:11 am So, to my understanding, teams can either make the playoffs and play in them, or opt out and play up to 10 games.

So if you win in week 7, but lose week 8, you could schedule regular season games for weeks 9, 10, 11, and 12 and still get in 10 regular season games plus two playoff games.
Any team that WANTS to play 10 games should be able to.

Would love that. Logan has a few games tentatively scheduled for the "post" post-season - but all that is subject to change based on who wins playoff games.superblue wrote: Tue Sep 01, 2020 9:39 am Hey locos , how about setting up a Logan and gallia accedemy game.... We're getting Coach Eddy VS Coach Kimes next week (Kimes was Eddy's OC at Parkersburg South) so would also be fun to see him against another protege, Coach Penrod.
Not sure Penrod could handle the pressure of facing his old school and old coach though

And same to you, superblue. Family here is great. I'll pass on your well wishes. Take care.
