They don't give athletic scholarships for football. They, and all schools in their conference, are non-scholarship FCS schools. A couple of years ago, they started giving a scholarship for quite a bit of $$ if they meet certain academic standards. The coach I talked to said it helped them in their recruiting quite a bit. Maybe Boggs received it. Regardless, congrats to Boggs. It is still competitive D1 college ball.
