NFL overtime rule
What do you think? I think it sucks!!!! The team that looses the toss you can see there offense start taking there tape off because more than likely they no they wont have a chance to see the field again.

Re: NFL overtime rule
I think the NFL should use the same overtime that the NCAA uses. The only difference would be that I think they should start at the 45. Each team gets a chance and the fans can go home happy!

I agree, maybe if they would have played harder in the official 4 quarters they would not need overtime.

Re: NFL overtime rule
Do it like it is now but if the team that wins the toss scores on their first posession, the other team gets a crack at it. If they then score (the same points), we then play on until the next score which wins it.

Overtime changes everything in a football game. The team that wins the toss is gonna be ultra aggressive especially if they get good field position on the kickoff. The other team should get a chance. It is just not right.
