The Cincinnati Reds will announce the signing of shortstop Edgar Renteria to a one-year contract Thursday afternoon, according to a source with knowledge of the situation.

Reds signed left fielder Fred Lewis to a one yr deal. He's a nice leadoff guy who has a great shot at winning the leadoff spot for the reds.

Votto signed today for 3yrs at 38 million. This contract only covers what would have been his arbitration years. Still can become a free agent afterwards!
