Bob Sowards, PGA Golfer and former Scioto County resident

I just wanted to throw this out there since there is not enough talk and support for Bob Sowards, who earned his PGA Tour card this year.

I believe he has played in 6-8 events on the PGA Tour in 08, and he recently made the cut at the AT&T Classic last week and was in contention until the final round.

Bob grew up in Minford and was at one time the PGA instructor at Murfield Village in Columbus, site of the Memorial Tournament at the end of May each year (Jack's tournament). He has played many PGA tournaments in the past on special invitations, but now he can play many tournaments after earning his tour card.

It is great to see local people do well, and I am sure alot of people are wishing him luck in 08 as he plays in many PGA Tour events.
