Bryant’s 39 points lead Lakers past Spurs 100-92
The Lakers did just enough to knock out the defending champs. MVP Kobe took over when needed and allowed his teammates to be part of it at times showing what a good team players he has become.

terrible rebounding performance by the spurs. something you dont often see out of the defending champs who should know rebound is key to success. i dont know what it was about the lakers but they out rebounded the spurs unlike any team i've ever seen, especially during key points in the game...kudos to them for that.
but after watching this series i see it more as the spurs lost it than the lakers won. i dont know what came over them but they were not playing their best or even close to their best basketball.
good luck to the lakers and all remaining teams, i'll be pulling for boston from here on out.

The Lakers were the better team. You don't beat the Spurs 4 games to one and say that the Spurs beat themselves. Give me a break. The Lakers WERE the better team and they deserved to win. Stop complaining.

stop complaining? how am i complaining? i give the lakers all the credit in the world. they found the way to beat the spurs...out rebound them. you can't honestly say the spurs played their best ball in that series. if you do, you dont know jack about basketball. i'm not complaining, it's my opinion on why the series turned out how it did. you dont like it? cry about it.
