I watched this one on MILB TV. The Jumbo Shrimp (14-5), the Marlins' triple-A affiliate, took down the Cardinals' triple-A affiliate by one run yesterday. The Redbirds committed two errors, while the Shrimp had just one. Short stop, Jack Winkler (San Francisco) paced the winners with two hits and two RBI. He blasted his 2nd bomb of the season. Troy Johnston (Gonzaga) also based his 2nd dinger of the season, a solo shot. Maximo Acosta had a hit and drove in a run in the win. For Memphis, (9-8), Bryan Torres had his 2nd bomb of the season, a solo shot. Catcher Jimmy Crooks (Oklahoma) had a hit and an RBI. Ryan Vilade drove in a run, he would have one hit on the night.
