Some Steeler fans down played the weak O-Line most of the year. Only to bring up we have won our last 2 Super Bowls with a bad line. Talking about the past winning 6 Super Bowls. Also thinking that Ben could play at a high level with any injury. As well as to think the defense is great even though they have a lot of older players. Then to think that the Steelers would dominate games during the regular season when they just did not. Or just some when the Steelers lose a game just ignore talking about the game and put down the Brown's and Bengals.

Reality is they have a lot of talent on the team. To many injuries to critical players. With Big Ben's injury being caused by the lack of a good offensive line that was also banged up. The age of some of the players makes it difficult to be healthy at the end of the season after playing a lot of playoff games in the past. Also if the defense is not getting pressure on the QB the DB pass coverage is not as good.

So enjoy your offseason knowing you had the same playoff record of 0-1 as the Bengals.

I would add Big Ben is more exposed to injury due to the style he plays. His is a physical method, keeping plays alive longer than most QBs. It is a double-edged sword. While he extends and makes plays, often home-runs, he also lingers about with his eyes down field. The play where he was injured against Cleveland was just such a play. Then, when you take away his ability physically to extend plays and add to that the fact his throwing motion is altered, he becomes somewhat mundane as a QB. I don't think his O-line is totally to blame but look at QBs with quick, decisive releases. Brady, Rodgers, Brees, Manning. Not many injuries among those QBs. Big Ben always seems to be dinged up by the end of the season.
