I can't wait 3 more days!!!!

God knows I love it, The greatest sport ever invented. Every year about this time I start feeling the itch, I start thinking about the feel of the dirt between my fingers, the smell of leather the first time I pull that glove onto my hand. The excitement of a long winters wait, To get back to that perfect place where its balls and strikes, runs and outs.................

Will sure miss not going to Goodyear to see the Reds in spring training this year. However my agreement with the little woman is that we go to Florida because she loves the beaches. To be perfectly honest I like the beaches also, and wish that the Reds had never left Sarasota. As you all know there are no beaches in Goodyear, Az., or the immediate vicinity. I will however get to see the following teams in spring training while in Florida. Phillies,Yankees,BlueJays,Orioles,Pirates,Twins,Rays,Cardinals, and,Mets. I will also get to visit with an old friend that I was in the military with, and haven't seen for over 25 years. He is the Godfather of my oldest Daughter!
The little woman has also informed me that we can return to Goodyear, Az., to see the Reds next spring(2012). So life is still good!

The Reds might as well start printing playoff tickets. St. Louis is losing all their pitching to injuries, Pujols will be a drag on them and there is no one else in the division.

Looks like Volquez started the season how he ended it last season  amazing how his stuff isn't quite as nice since he got busted for his "fertility drug" use
