Today at noon in womens hockey the USA vs Canada in the Gold medal game.

Tomorrow at noon in mens hockey the USA vs Canada in the semi-final game.

Women's hockey. Canada 3 USA 2 F/OT Good game to watch. Canada storms back from a 2-0 deficit late in the 3rd to force OT and then get the winner on a 5-3 power play goal. USA gets the silver, again.

Men's hockey. Canada 1 USA 0 Another good game to watch. Canada plays for the Gold vs Finland and the USA vs Sweden for the Bronze.

Yes, its good to get Beau Bennett back. It will be even better when we get Malkin, Letang, Dupuis and Martin back.

We sat in section 211 which was upper deck just behind our net, first and third periods on the right side of the tv broadcast. Great seats. Nice arena too.

I figured at least 40% of the crowd were Penguin fans because the place erupted when we scored. We also drowned out their "lets go Bluejacket" chants with "Lets Go Pens!!!" everytime.

Crowd was well behaved and the Blue Jacket faithful were passionate but polite. The guy beside me was a Columbus fan and mentioned that their crowd was usually quite. They only sellout when the Pens or Red Wings come to town. Their attendance is down from last year just slightly. If the playoffs started today it would be Pittsburgh vs Columbus.

Blackhawks come to town for a possible Stanley Cup preview on Sunday. National TV broadcast.

Final road trip of the regualr season continues at Minnesota on Saturday and Colorado on Sunday. We have only won 3 out of our last 7 games. Need to get the kinks worked out before we start our Cup run.
