Wow!!!!!!!!! How about the Jackets!! They go up in the series over the Lightning 3-0 after their game three win, 3-1.

Jackets looking for their first ever playoff series win.

Close it out the next game, while you have your foot on there throat. Tampa Bay is to good of a team to even give them a chance to get some momentum by returning to TB.

Congrats to the Blue Jackets!! They played as if they won 62 games in the regular season. After the first period of game 1, Columbus survived a power play early in the second and got momentum. They NEVER looked back.

Tampa played a step late...in fact, they looked timid. I can't blame our goalie as the defence around him was pathetic. Injuries to Hedman and Strahlman (our top defenders) didn't help.

Columbus won with precision passing....stick to stick. They played as one unit, whether on offense or defense.

There is much more I could say but, I'll leave it to others. A tip of the hat to the Blue Jackets and best of luck the rest of the way!!!

Bottom line....THIS IS WHY I LOVE THE STANLEY CUP PLAYOFFS!!! Ya never know what the hell can happen!!

Proud of our CBJ!! Tampa entered the playoffs as the favorite to win the Stanley Cup, and the Jackets didn't just win, they dominated, especially in this last game to close out the sweep!

I feel the acquisition of Duchene and Dzingel were huge for Columbus, as I mentioned earlier in this thread.

Misery does love company....The Islanders just swept Crosby and the Penguins.

Schedule for second round are tbd. Most likely, they will start Thurs-Fri...maybe Wed-Thurs.

Let's not jump up and down too much since this is the only playoff series the Jackets have won in their 20 year existence. I live in Columbus and have never been a hockey fan but their fans are already delirious about the season so far. Reality should set in here shortly after they realize it takes 4 rounds of series wins to bring home the Cup.

In double overtime, the Carolina Hurricanes win 4-3 and move on to face the Islanders. Helluva a game!!!
