Troy smith is in to try to finish off miami but Baltimore punted and Miami is driving with just under 3 minutes left in the game
and used their last timeout

Time to let Smith play the final 2 games. Even if he is not your future he gains experience as a backup.. He may impress some people or another team who needs a QB.

Nah hes the future of Baltimore Steve is old and Boller isnt a favorite so Smith takes the role next year

It seems to me..
When you get to that level of sports, everybody is good. A big part of what separates the pretenders from contenders in the NFL is what you have upstairs in your noggin. I have no doubt that Troy Smith is smart enough to be a starting quarterback in the NFL. Infact, I believe he can make up for any physical disadvantages with brains and heart. I admire him as a person. He became a man at Ohio State. He overcame so much. and I hope he becomes a star in Pro Football.
It was great to see him out there today.
