I also like the DH. No one wants to see pitchers go up and make complete idiots of themselves every couple of innings or so...that is unless its Dontrelle Willis who can actually hit the ball.

I'm a NL guy, but I like the DH. It reduces the need to take a pitcher out of the ball game just to generate offense. Also gives more flexibility with lineups and keeps good hitters in the game longer. Mike Piazza is a good example of someone who can have a few years of pinch hitting in him.

NL. I love the National League, but like the DH too in a sense. I like the fact that one league has the DH and the other doesn't. It helps to separate the two leagues, which I don't think is a bad thing at all. I for one absolutely HATE inter-league play. I would much rather see the Reds get more NL games than play.....Tampa Bay, Toronto, Chi Sox, Oakland, heck I don't even really care that they play Cleveland, or NY Yankees. With 16 teams in the NL, and even 14 in the AL the leagues don't play within enough. That could have something to do with the 18-19 games per team within division.

Good point about interleague play. When it first started I like it, but now I would rather go back to playing more games against teams in your own league. I am a Dodger fan and I miss the days of the Reds and Dodgers battling it out. Six games a year vs. old rivals just does not cut it.
