Reds Farm report Louisville falls 2-0 to Syracuse

Well Reds fans your triple A club, the Louisville Bats fell today,2-0 in their season opener.

Homer Bailey started and pitched well, going seven innings giving up one run on five hits.


Gary Majewski wasn't so good out of the bullpen as he gave up two hits and a run in only one inning of work.

The Bats offense was shut down by David Purcey, who went six innings allowing two hits, zero runs while striking out seven.


Former Cleveland Indian Jolbert Cabrera had a double for the Bats.

Ryan Hanigan the Bats catcher had two hits.
