Reds @ Phillies

Post by mohawkbaseball#1 »

The Red's roll into Philly after winning 5 of their last 6, however this was at home and the Red's have been abysmal on the road (9-19). the Phillies offense has been rolling as of late, averaging more than 10 runs in their past six games, including a 20-5 victory over the Rockies on May 26. Entering Sunday's, the Phillies were batting .307 with 19 home runs and 81 runs scored in their last 11 games.

Bronson Arroyo, RHP (4-4, 5.29) @ Kyle Kendrick, RHP (4-2, 4.84)
Aaron Harang, RHP (2-7, 3.81) @ Adam Eaton, RHP (1-3, 4.99)
Edinson Volquez, RHP (7-2, 1.46) @ Brett Myers, RHP (3-6, 5.52)
TBA @ TBA

Looks like a great pitching match up for the Reds. Just pull out two wins and I will be happy, if they got the sweep I would be thrilled but Im shooting for 2 games. That will still be tough against a good phillies team as of late.

Reds are in a hole now, 5-2 bases loaded one out for the Phillies in the Bottom of the 5th. Bronson is done for the game so its off to the bullpen. On the plus side Bruce hit another Homerun!

Well if we can hold them in the bottom half of the 8th, Dunn will have to do some magic.

Reds lose 5-4, the reds couldn't catch a break.... hit the ball hard but right at people

Well 2 games from .500 now. They need the next two game for sure. With STL and the Red Sox's coming to town soon things are going to get ruff.

Definitely need to win at least 2 of the next 3 to get the split. Then off to Florida!
