i like it cuz if my team needs a boost they can pick up a player to give them that boost and sometimes a rookie just wont cut it

Free agency is good for some players who get stuck in a situation where their team does nothing to improve the team year after year. Much like the Cincinnati Reds/Bengals of the last 10 years.
Some baseball organizations use free agency instead having a good farm system. Just imagine what the Minnesota Twins and Florida Marlins would be like if they were able to keep all or most of their players from free agency???
Maybe if they put a cap on the amount of money a single player can make it would make free agency more fair to all teams.

I like free agency and dont like it . It seems it helps teams by getting them and hurts them bye losing players . Its a catch 22. Like if i was on a team that has never been to the super bowl ,I would try to get on a winning team . So if you buy a players jersey, he might not be there next year or when his contract runs out.
I also think the sighing of rookies is too high. There should be a base pay rate untill they prove themselves.
That would free up more money to keep proven players.
