Colt McCoy may not be starting next year

BROWNS: Just like team president Mike Holmgren and coach Pat Shurmur, Browns general manager Tom Heckert was non-committal on the future of quarterback Colt McCoy. "We'll have to really, really look at it after the season," he said, via The Cleveland Plain Dealer. Heckert, though, acknowledged that the team can fully evaluate McCoy even though the offensive line has had trouble protecting him and the wide receivers are among the league leaders in drops. Hensley's slant: By the time it's Week 15, you know as an organization whether McCoy is your quarterback or not. So not publicly committing to him basically says you're not committed to him. The real question is whether Cleveland uses its top-10 pick on a quarterback.

Next QB to take a ride on the Browns QB Merry Go Round.
You do not block well for a QB, do not run well and drop a lot of passes. That makes it tough on any QB. Then you do not take care of your QB when he gets a concussion. As well as lie about saying you checked him out. Only to change your mind with some bad excuses. Colt should be happy to leave. Holmgren is not a fix it person and is way over rated.

I'd like to see them take a shot at Kellen Moore, his ability to read defenses and accuracy is unmatched IMO,if Wallace can move them up and down the field and put up points McCoy's confidence will be destroyed, and they will have to draft somebody unless they think Wallace can take them to the promised land.

Matt Flynn from the Packers. Then use your picks to put some weapons around him.

Matt Flynn
Career 51 - 88 535 yards 3 TD 4INT 1 FUM QB Rat 68.1
An unproven backup that hardly plays. Has not shown he can play every week. He has 1 good game. Also started just one year at LSU. So he is lacking in actual game playing conditions for years. Could he be a good QB or not will need to be proven. With the Browns luck on QB's he would more of a gamble compared to some of the QB's that will be in the draft.

Tim Couch, Brady Quinn, Charlie Frye. I'll take my chances.

I think they need to evaluate all the QB's that will be available instead of concentrating just on one QB.

Pretty decent day for Wallace, but I don't think it was enough to shatter McCoy's confidence yet,I thought the Browns had a couple critical calls go against them, first the sack and fumble by Wallace, my first thought was his arm was down, but they ruled it was just the hand and then the no call on the hit on Wallace out of bounds would have given them 15 big yards to get closer to field goal range,I thought Gocong had another good day on defense and hes had a good stretch of games recently.I'm really curious to see who Shumur goes with at QB next week
