it seems to me this season for LeBron is already looking up. it is very apparent he has tremendously improved his post play, and he has gotten alot bigger(6'8". 250lbs). Plus the Cavs have added more talent to the team, it wouldn't be surprising to see them in the finals again....with different results.

I see the Pistons in the championship this year with the addition of Iverson. They will be real good

I can see them losing in the second round again.

yes, his post play has improved but he's not shooting well at all from outside about 6 feet. he's 0 for like 12 or 13 from beyond the arc and his 2 point jumper percentage isn't much better (can't recall it at the time but it was on ESPN the other day). let's just hope his distance shooting slump is just that, a slump and will fade as he the season progresses and he gets back in rhythm.

he doesnnt need to be shooting jumpers, he needs to be driving and dishing.

his shooting isnt as good as it has been in the past, but i can almost guarantee as the season goes on his whole game will elevate tremendously

james will never be the shooter that mj was. mj also had better players around him too than james has had.

never is an awfully big word. i wouldn't say never just yet. he's only 23 years old and has many years of training of practice ahead of him. don't get me wrong, i was a huge MJ fan back in the day so i'll always be reluctant to say anybody is as good as or better than him but if anybody in the league today is gonna do it it'll be James. the man is a freak athlete with talent out the ears and seemingly endless potential, the sky's the limit for him pending a serious injury or something of that nature.

finally someone with intelligence.
At the time LeBron isn't as good as Mike. But he will most likely be better. Although he isn't surrounded with the talent MJ did, he will eventually, and whose to say he need four other stars on his team to be as great as MJ? I dont think he does. Or ever will. He took a mediocre Cavs team to the finals. He is the player who everyone else feeds off of.

mj never had four other stars around him either. he did have one other superstar in pippen that helped alot and vice versa. pippen never was the player he was in chicago after he left.

I disagree..
We know that MJ was more talented than Lebron is now, but those bulls had a much better lineup than what the current Cavs do. Pippen was a good player and so was the rebounder Rodman. With that team, Lebron could make it past the second round..
