Tim Duncan, a pro's pro, retires after 19 seasons. I always saw him as a blue collar craftsman in an age of spoiled thugs.

A class act.
He never played basketball until high school.
I hope he has a long, healthy and happy retirement.

Top 10 player of All Time, IMO.
We needed a player like him. Was able to show kids that you didn't have to be flashy to be great or a winner. The Big Fundamental will be missed.

One of my favorite players, just goes about the game, consistent performances for nearly 20 years. I think the best PF ever, and a top 10 player ever, a real pro.

This guy and Dirk Nowitzki are the very last of a now extinct breed of superstar players. He truly loved the game and didn't put himself above it by bringing attention to himself and making all about him.He played for the love of his city, teammates, fans, not for the fame, glory and money they all love now.He will be sadly missed!
