roster will be 45/55 players
90 teams between Ohio, Kentucky,Indiana,Pennsylvania
12 week schedule
18 and older

What I heard from the Youth Football Program. The only team playing on Polley Field is the youth football teams.
No Semi Pro team will play on Polley. It wasn't approved by the city or the youth program. False information given to the paper from the guy in charge of this team.

If Nelsonville doesn't want it maybe Athens will--has to be money for somewhere

The USMC is "Devil Dogs", not to be confused with the slang DAWGS which has come into play the last couple of decades for nicknames of many sports teams as a feel good thing. The Marines (of which I am one) got this moniker and title for the way they fought in World War I in a field of war, not a field of play. Blasphemy I say, blasphemy !!!!! (Unless this team if filled with all Marines, I feel this name should not be mentioned as relating to the United States Marine's because that is a title that very few have acquired over the last couple of centuries when compared to other services or countries and is very special).
