The Lakers win 99-91 in OT to pretty much seal the deal on another NBA title. It would take a miracle for Orlando to win 3 in a row, especially 2 at LA, to come back and win this series.

Derek Fisher nailed a 3 ptr with just a few seconds left in regulation to send it to OT and then nailed another one to break a 91 all tie and the Pau Gasol finished off the scoring for the Lakers with two dunks and some free throws.

Great win for the Lakers and hopefully they will finish this series off in 5 games.

Kobe led the way for LA with 32/8/8 and Gasol chipped in with 16pts and 10 rebounds while Ariza had 16 pts and 9 rebounds. Fisher also reached double figures with 12 pts.

For Orlando Turkoglu led the way with 25 pts and Howard had 16 pts and 21 rebounds while Alston chipped in with 11 pts and Pietrus with 15.

Great game especailly with both team over coming another game where the refs were off.

This years nba championship belongs to the lakers!

No disrespect to the Lakers, but the Magic really let Game 4 get away.
22-for-37 at foul line? Really?
Howard 6-for-14. Turkgolu 8-for-13.
Plus, Howard had 7 turnovers. LA only had 7 as a team.
Full credit to LA for hitting free throws (15-of-20), taking care of the ball (only 7 TOs) and knocking down big shots (Fisher's 3s at the end of regulation and in OT).
This series is over.
Cue the band and confetti machine.

Not sort of, exactly like that.

As a lifelong Laker fan I have to admit I was complaining all game that Fisher should be on the bench as he just couldnt make a shot. Glad Phil Jackson knows more about it than I do. And i thought the refs were really inconsistant in their calls both ways. But now the Lakers need just one more. May as well get it Sunday night!

this is just some food for thought.

does anyone believe the lakers will somehow try to let this go back to l.a. and win it their hometown since they're up 3-1?

Congrats to the Lakers on title number 15 and to Phil Jackson on number 10.

Now that the Lakers have the NBA title, I just need the Buckeyes and Cowboys to bring home championships and all will be right with the world.
