Lilian Garcia to leave WWE after 10 years of announcing RAW

Lilian Garcia announced on her website that she is leaving the WWE after her contract expires later this year. WWE is actively searching for a new female ring announcer. Lilian debuted as the ring announcer for RAW on August 23, 1999. The reason she is leaving is that she is getting married at the end of the year.
Lilian is a great announcer and singer. My favorite memory of her is when she sung the Star Spangled Banner on the first RAW after 9/11 and all the superstars came out to ringside as she sung the anthem.
I'm not sure when her contract expires, but I'm assuming it would be around that August 23 date she started in '99.

Hi Everyone,
I hope all of you are doing well! I am writing to address the situation in which WWE is looking for a Female Ring Announcer/Singer. The truth of the matter is that they are looking for someone new because I have given them my notice that I will be leaving at the end of my contract this year. It is with a heavy heart that I have made this decision because WWE has been my family from day one and you, the WWE Universe have always been incredible to me. The fact is that I am getting married later this year and have decided to enter into a new phase of my life but I will truly miss all of you and the WWE tremendously.
