The Cleveland Browns

How bad can they get? They probably have a decent defense but the offense is always going 3 and out and wearing out the defense. They havent scored an offensive touchdown since the Buffalo game last year.

They'll be lucky to win two games. I think the expansion team was better than this. The Jets really rooked us..their worthless coach, their worst players and all we got to show for it is a rookie center who can't snap the ball. Just great!!!!!!!!!!!!

Here is a suggestion I'll bet even Bengals fans would go for. The NFL awards franchises. It should require the francise be managed professionally and at least show competance within a certain period of time. If not, the NFL should withdraw the franchise to the owner(s) and award it to another owner. No more owners for life. This franchise is draining the life out of a very determined and energetic fan base.......one that FORCED the hand of the NFL to allot a new franchise when the old one was taken away by the last despot, King Arthur. I'm sure Mr. Lerner is a good man and his heart is in the right place but football is not one of his fortes. How about the league buys the Browns back, puts solid football people in charge and run it as a ward of the league, then when it is viable again, sell it to another owner. This franchise is dying on the vine!

Can they possibly get more inept? This is my 51st year following them, and I thought I saw the worst it could possibly get....but nooooooooooooooooo!

Since Al Lerner was awarded the franchise, the only thing he brought to the table was his MBNA money and a sincere desire to bring a winner to Cleveland. Unfortunately he didnt have a clue how to do it and died trying. He trusted so-called football people like Carmen Policy, Dwight Clark and coaches like Chris Palmer (another example of a coordinator who couldnt make the jump to head coach), Butch Davis (Biggest jerk in Browns history). Then we had Savage as GM and that is all I need say about his success. Now we live with Kokinis.

The front office has turned over about as often as the coaching staffs resulting in nothing resembling a unified direction the franchise could build on. Now his son Randy owns the team, and his greatest love is soccer and his home in England. It was Randy Lerner who brought us Mangenius and the Jets castoffs in spite of all the negativity associated with his reign in New York from everyone from players to the media.

We set new standards for poor drafting every spring. Some of the biggest gaffs were passing on Adrian Peterson in favor of LT Joe Thomas, and this spring passing on Sanchez in the first round in favor of a center who cannot snap the ball when the QB is in the shotgun. Then we would up with the 4th best USC LB when Malagua (sp) was available. Im sure the Bengals are grateful for that.

Another wasted draft and possibly the worst team in the NFL (even perhaps worse than Detroit).

Hey at least Detroit scores TDs. The Browns have scored only ONE offensive TD in the last 34 quarters! That is one offensive TD in 8 1/2 games dating back to last year. We run a 3-4 defense and dont have four LBs. We have NO ONE in the secondary, and yesterday we made Kyle Orton look like an All-Pro QB.

I wonder if the problem with Brady is more Brady or the coach calling the plays? Either way, the Browns play calling makes Tressel look like a genius!

Im through. I cant do this anymore. I dont see Mangenius last more than a year unless Lerner owes him something fierce. Browns fans are the most loyal in all of sports, but I sense that even they have had it.

Good to see you feeling better !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :-D
