Preseason begins a week from Tuesday. Is this the year Ohio wins a pro title in one of the 4 major leagues?

They may be playing this season without Delonte West. I dont understand these guys. They have everything and just dont want to get out of that "thug" life.

I know...but I promise you he will miss some time this season...Via suspension or just "to get his head right"He is supposedly by-polar.

There is talk of them picking up an extra guard through a trade. They will probably stand pat for the moment though. They have Boobie Gibson to play back up point guard, and have plenty of shooting fuards to choose from in Parker,Moon and Green. They can also play 2 big guards and let Lebron bring the ball up the court.

Yeah I feel the Cavs can win it all this season I'm really excited about this teams .... My top 5 teams entering this season are as follows IMO
1. Lakers - defending champs & adding Artest they deserve it
2. Celtics - injuries hurt them last year adding Rasheed Wallace great Move
3. Cavaliers - LeBron + Shaq ... also adding Powe Parker Moon will add great depth
4. Magic - went to the finals last year, resign Hedo adding Vince Carter makes them a team to fear & a title contender
5. Spurs - big three Duncan, Parker, Ginobili & adding Richard Jefferson makes this team a threat to the Lakers in the West

I think the Cavs have a solid shot at winning the title. I'd say once season kicks in Delonte will get his head right and stay out of trouble. The addition of Shaq will help a lot.
GO CAVS!

adding an aging player with his best years behind him won't help...these things rarely work out unless he is just a support player.

West needs to stay on his medicine for his bi polar disorder. Depends on what support the team is going to give him to help him out.
This could be Cleveland's year but then it this is a Cleveland sports team where not winning is the way it works out. No matter how talented their team is.

Not just the addition of Shaq is gonna take the Cavs over the top.... Adding Anthony Parker, JaMario Moon, & Leon Powe those are three young athletic players who have put up numbers in the NBA these are proven guys and I also look for big things out of JJ Hickson & Darnell Jackson off the bench
Here's my projected line up for Cavs
Starting 5
Shaq/C
Varejao/PF
LeBron/SF
Parker/SG
Mo/PG
Bench
West
Boobie
Z
Powe
Moon
Hickson
Jackson
There also have Jawad Williams, Danny Green, & who knows when there going to bring Sasha Kahn from over sea's...,this is a big athletic young (minus Shaq & Z) teams I'm very excited bring on Boston opening night @ the Q Oct/27 8:00pm tip off I can't wait GO CAVS !

This is going to be a great year for Cavalier basketball they by far have the best bench in the league and the best player in the league (Lebron James). I'm so excited i can't wait for October 27th to come so we can Beat the Celts at the Q.

He is a complimetary player for the Celtics. Adds spark and depth. Not my favorite guy personally but Garnett will keep him in line. Shaq won't get the Cavs over the hump-saying it right here and now. I'll take the Big 3 over the Chosen One!
