Looking at 2010 free agent list and was wondering if the reds should go after Omar Visquel, if the reds decide that Janish is the future SS Visquel would a perfect mentor.
Other Free Agent SS:
Orlando Cabera
Alex Cora
Bobby Crosby
Khalil Greene
Alex Gonzales
John MacDonald (Also would be good cause Janish reminds me alot of him)
Miguel Tejada (Probably asking for more money than the reds should dish out)
Jack Wilson

my only problem i have with them is that crosby is a little injury prone, has only played 100 games twice in his career. and greene has had anxiety issues in the past.

Well he would fit in with the rest of the team then!!!
The big question is how much money are the owners willing to pay for talent this winter??

financially i think Tejada is the only one that will probably ask for a good bit. but he is 34 years old or 50 years old depends on who you talk to. Cabrera is also getting up in years at 34, he'll prolly want the 2nd most.
sidenote: would love to have Jack Wilson also

Trade for J.J. Hardy. Milwaukee has a young phenom to play SS and would like to unload some payroll. The question is would the Brewers trade him inside the division.

Where? Cincinnati or Ironton?

Actually, I agree with him on this one! Sigh, I long for the days of the Big Red Machine

Hey, I like the nucleus of this team right now. They've finished with respectability this last month or so. They just need depth. Right now, a single injury can kill them.
