I'd say 30% for the Lakers. Returning everyone and gaining Artest.

40% Chance the Celtics will win. Due to KG coming back.

30% Chance the Cavs will win. With the addition of Shaq and returning mostly everyone.

95%

the only teams capable of beating them in 7 games are Boston and San Antonio.

Capable? do you remember 2 years ago. Celtics dominated them with the same team. Same Kobe Bryant. Celtics are the top dog once again.

Boston could very well beat LA again in the finals this year, that's not my point. i'm saying the only teams that are good enough to beat LA in the finals would either be San Antonio or Boston.

or more clearly:

LA, Boston, San Antonio
.
.
.
.
Everyone else

but your saying 95% they repeat and that's not even close unless 2.5% is Spurs and the other 2.5% is the Celtics

I would say the Celtics are more likely then either team to win this year

what i'm saying is this:

IMO, LA is the overwhelming favorite to win it all. the only 2 teams that could stop them IMO are Boston and San Antonio, hence why i don't have 100% because Boston and San Antonio could beat them if the cards fell right

well i will bet my life savings. the only team that will give the lakers trouble in the west is the nuggets. When the lakers do make it to the finals, they only have to worrie about Boston being the opponent.

I dont save money. My wife spends it all...

well i will bet how ever much you want that the Lakers don't win the finals this year. I just do not at all see it happening! If anything they will rig it so the Cavs win and Shaq gets another ring and then there will be the duel the following year and it will be Lakers vs Cavs in the final to see Shaq vs. Kobe and see who has the most rings

IF the Cavs win Shaq will have 5 rings Kobe would have 4 but it does not matter i'm going Celtics all the way!

I was pretty sure that Kobe was in the lead with rings. Either way it would be an even sweeter game this year if the Cavs and the Lakers meet in the finals and play each other. I would love to see that matchup. 8)
