Browns defense played well the first half to keep it 0-0. The offense is not doing much and the Browns are only throwing short passes with Quinn. The Ravens got one TD on an interception to led 16-0 with over 3 mins left in the 3rd quarter.

And the Browns defense makes us Stiller fans very happy!

The Browns made a grave error in drafting Quinn.I said that when it happened.

Brady Quinn is not the problem the problem is the team he plays on. Not one QB could do very well with that team. JMO

He wont be in the NFL in two years. He sux. Did nothing at ND and will do nothing in the NFL. I know the line sux also and from what I have seen they have about 5 players playing there guts out and everyone alse just collecting a check. Gruden acted like he wanted the job the way he was going on.

Until we get an owner with a solid plan to put in place an organization that makes it possible to field a competitive team, all the conjecture about QBs is useless. IT HAS TO START AT THE TOP and I'm not talking about the coach (although that's a joke, too).

With all this talk about QB's with Cleveland let me be the firs to start on next years Cleveland Brown QB,,,,,,,,Man I knew Colt McCoy wasn't going to do any good in the NFL
The problem is not the QB,,,it's the offense, they are trying to run the ball with a back that has no more gas in the tank, you have QB's throwing to receivers who are not NFL ready, and a line that,,,,,,well the line sucks. I don't claim to know much about football but I would think the Browns will have to fire the Offensive Coordinator after the year, I would fire the head coach as well but thats just me. They need to bring some fire back to the offense, I know it's the new fad in the NFL but why not run some plays out of the wildcat, I mean you have a receiver who was a QB in college, use that, have Cribbs line up behind center then you have the run option or he can throw it(can't throw the ball anyworse than what I have seen all season by the other to QB's).

Did you watch Quinn lay down real fast last night when he seen Ray Lewis about to hit him. Didnt even try to escape. he would still be the worst even if he had the best line in the nfl.

B.Q. shows again he is nothing more than a clipboard carrier in the N.F.L.

He is the perfect example that a very good college player dosen't always equate to a good pro player.Alot of people assume that they will tear it up at both levels,it dosen't always happen.Another thing that made him attractive was where he went to school...ND...If he went soemwhere like say Houston maybe the Browns dont take him.I think the Browns fell for the ND golden boy mystique..Oh well...

The media always makes out that ND players are the greatest.Heck,Tim Brown was in the nfl hall before he left ND!

I think the next bust is Claussen. There will be a sucker for him too..

Me too, OZ. Against good college defenses he played poorly. Against the military bowl series that is ND's schedule he played great. However, he isn't the total problem, or at least not until they give him something to aide him...ie line, receivers, consistant running backs. Something other than Cribbs!! Actually the wildcat looked pretty good last night except for the fact that Baltimore was already crowding the line when they went to it and B.Q. at wideout. Who really runs the wildcat with their qb still in the game anymore, Baltimore certainly wasn't fooled by BQ at wr. Like UM or not Braylon was inconsistantly good but very athletic. Winslow was a mismatch. They were bigger than Mangina and he eliminated them.
I thought Gruden had alot more fire last night when talking about the Browns than some previous games. He even defended the short passing game for about a qtr and a half and really defended BQ. Any coach would be foolish to have to start over again with a team that just traded off their best offensive weapons and left behind a bare cupboard of unproven talent and demolished spirits with a losing trend if not a tradition. We are so far away from being good it isn't even funny!! Where to start? I mean after cleaning house at the top.
Last night was embarrassing but at some point the QB either argues visibly with the OC or just simply calls audibles to get away from that rinky dink passing game they were running. Every player on roster is smarter than they appeared last night on national tv and they were made to look that way by the gameplan and play calling.

A few notes from last nights game.
1. Our Deffense didnt play that bad, We have a few young players who willbe good with more time on the field.
2. I think I could wrangle up 11 guys on SEOPS to stop our Offense.
3. Brady Quinn has a Candy Arm, And I see why they dont go deep to often .
4. Atleast the weather was nice and I didnt have to sit through that bull crap game in cold weather..
