Greg Oden is most likely done for the year after fracturing his patella last night.

Bad luck as Oden was starting to become a good NBA center. Hoping he comes back and can stay healthy.

Size and talent is great to have. But that size wears at a body after all the games and workouts during the offseason. Great talent that is falling to the Trailblazer big man curse.

It's a shame...he is a physical presence but I don't think his body will ever hold up.

He was leading the league in blocked shots.

i hope he heels well i like his game when he is healthy,could be a15-10 guy.

I think not staying in college hurt him he should have stayed got physically stronger and then went after maybe 2 years of college

I'm going to assume that he played AAU and every other basketball league for many years growing up. Is there any chance that playing all that ball at a young age with a huge body could come back to haunt you? I hate to see it for his sake he's a stand up guy I met him at the NCAA tourny at Rupp Arena (I was in the 4th row of the bleachers and I still had to look up at him ). He's gonna need to be in a rotation IMO to play consistently, his body can't take the beating of playing every single night.

Hope the healing process goes well and smooth for Mr. Oden. The NBA needs good men like him...
