i don't see the browns winning this game. the steelers just aren't the steelers this year and that game was a fluke IMO

The Browns defense played very well last week all around with a bunch of backups. Roth was a very good pickup at linebacker. Looked like Ryan got more influence to call his game away from Mangini. If the Browns could do something on offense things would be different.
As for Quinn it is hard to judge him with what he has around him on offense and not throwing the ball down field. Quinn could throw the ball downfield in college so let him try it again. He may surprise people or he will prove it is time to move on. Time to move Mangini on. HE is suppose to be this great offensive mind but his calling and personality is just offensive.

I thought Mangini was a defensive coach under Belichick. Ryan is a keeper at defensive coordinator. Not sure what we gain by sending another coach on his way after a year. I might keep him just to make sure but the QB situation has to be addressed. I'm tired of waiting for one of these guys to "assert" themselves. Draft linemen, a running back or two, a receiver and see what is available on the open market for QB this year.

Oh yea, Browns lay an egg after an emotional win against the Stoolers. They haven't put back-to-back wins together since 2007.

Against the Steelers that was more of a Ryan coached defense. With 8 sacks and blitzs from all over. They played a very good defense with many backup players. I do not like the change over of coaches all the time but when a team is not improving in many areas. Including getting rid of the GM that was personally hand picked by Mangini.
The news is that Mike Holmgren was in to talk about a job. Mangini likes to control things and may not like having to give up some control.
