Jose Fernandez, starting pitcher for the Florida Marlins is killed in a boating accident. Although I was not familiar with his career, he was apparently a potentially rising star for Miami. He was just 24 years old. I guess nothing good ever comes from being out past midnight. Prayers for his soul, family, and organization.

I saw this a little earlier today. That is just horrible news, even if you were a casual fan you knew he was on his way to being an absolute stud and possible multi Cy Young award winner. Just really sad to hear.

He was a stud.Coming back from TJ surgery better than ever. Wicked stuff. Lot of new info coming out that I hate to read
