Bengals claim RB on waivers
Posted 4 hours ago

aaThe Bengals on Thursday acquired running back Walter Mendenhall on waivers from the Buffalo Bills.

Mendenhall is a first-year player in 2010. He originally signed as a college free agent with Philadelphia last year. He was waived by the Eagles in June, then signed by Indianapolis in August. He played in three preseason games with the Colts (recording two carries for 21 yards) before being waived on final cuts. He was not with an NFL team during the 2009 regular season. Buffalo signed him to their offseason roster on April 7.

Mendenhall rushed for 796 yards and 11 touchdowns as a senior at Illinois State. He is the older brother of Pittsburgh Steelers running back Rashard Mendenhall.

After the past season iv'e come to realize all teams must be respected and no team should be overlooked. But with that said to think the steelers will have a bad season, even without our two time superbowl winning quarterback in for the start of the season, is just arrogant and childish. The browns will not compete with the AFC this year and will possibly win 6 maybe 7 games at most. The Bengals, however, will be a determining factor in whether or not we win the division or wildcard into the playoffs. The ravens, always tough, will not be much of a factor this year most likely will win 10 games but it will not be enough to catch the bengals or steelers.
